I only edit my pictures on my phone, and I thought I would share my favourite apps with you. My editing always depend on the picture, and what kind of look/mood I’m going for.
I love the HUJI app, and startet using it a few months ago. I love the old look and I just think the picture ends up with so much more feeling. It’s probably the easiest way to edit your pictures, if you’re not too picky. You just choose the pictures you want to edit and they “develop”, and a few seconds later you got your pictures looking like they were taken with analog film. The edit is random, and you can also choose if you want random light effects, which I always do.
Modern & Detailed
With Lightroom I sometimes edit the highlights, contrasts and colour completely different to give the whole picture a different look. It ends up showing more details, especially if the photo was very light and unclear at first. I basically did that on the first photo, and on the second I was quite happy with the look of it (as I was standing right next to the window haha), so I only made the colours a bit stronger and edited some contrast. The good thing about Lightroom is that you can save your edits so that you can just use the same ones on other photos if that’s the vibe you’re going for. I know you can buy other’s presets (edits) as well, but I haven’t done that.
Simple & Easy
Previously I used VSCO all the time, but I actually haven’t done that in ages. I do think it’s good for quick edits if you like any of the filters on there though, and it’s also very easy to make it your own with a few changes.
So that’s basically my “go to” editing apps! I’m no pro at editing, but I do really enjoy sitting down and editing my pictures while sipping my coffee and having some random series play on Netflix, haha.
Hope you found some of it useful!
For anyone wanting a cool editing app – download HUJI from app store. Gives your pictures more of an vintage look and I looove it.
Dan and I are currently back in Oslo after being in my hometown for a few days. Other plans for the summer? I want to make more videos for you guys, be more creative and work harder. Trips? Thinking of going to see my brother, dad and little niece very soon, then I’ll go back home to spend some time with my mom as well before August is over. After that I really want to visit Mathilde and Amy who’s moving (!!!) to Berlin and maybe take a quick trip somewhere in Europe for a weekend with Dan. And in between this is a lot of work as well! Haha, believe me. And then when September is over… A new destination might be next up… To live, experience and learn. You’ll know ❤
Feeling proud to be able to wear this dress ❤ It’s actually 38 years old, and used to be my great grandma’s dress. She loved it so much and even though she’s not here to see me in it, I’m so happy I get to wear it. In these pictures you can see a little bit of my hometown and it’s beauty. It was actually -15 while taking these pictures so I wasn’t very comfortable, but I just had to pretend.
It might not be that much going on here, but I’m so proud to have such a beautiful hometown.
Here she is in the dress, with my aunt next to her ❤ I wasn’t even born at this time.
I mean – look at this place! Some more pictures from my photoshoot in Los Angeles. Maybe you’re starting to see what I meant about this place. I love it.
Other than that I’m back home right now after spending the weekend in Oslo. I was so tired yesterday I ended up sleeping until 4 in the afternoon after landing. Very needed, but now I want to try and get back to normal routines – I always trying to avoid messing up my sleep because I usually get sleep paralysis… And if you haven’t experienced it I can just tell you it really is the worst thing.
New video coming out soon guys, so stay tuned!! Also doing something really exciting next month with Dan 😉 Will tell you more asap.
Guys!! Ah I wish you could be in the same place as me for this photoshoot. It was so cool! This woman had literally made her whole apartment into a doll house/dream house with pink, vintage and just really pretty accessories everywhere. She rents it out for people to shoot there and it’s just really impressive how she’s done everything and the ideas she has. Inspirational!
I can’t lie and say I didn’t get any interior inspiration for my own place one day (might be hard convincing someone else to live there though haha), but first off I will have to stay somewhere for longer than 6 months so that’s obviously not going to happen for a while, lol.
Anyways you will be seeing parts of this cute little apartment these upcoming days because I will be sharing pictures from my photoshoot that I had ❤ Here’s the first!
Soooo extra and I love it.
Some photos from yesterday! I had such a nice day, and then a lot of fun going out with new friends. I’m really happy that I’ve only been here for less than a week, but still having met so many cool people.
Today I’ve had a super typical Sunday with Netflix and food from my fave place right next to me – Rise N Grind. Perfect day! It was actually so hot today, and the next days as well – over 30 degrees! I know it’s supposed to be like 40 later this week which is insane to me, wow. I’m so happy I found out that we have a pool here in the apartment building as well, so I know where to chill out when it’s hot!
Now I’m drinking green tea and sitting in the living room with Friends on the tv. I’m getting the vlog ready for you guys this week, and then I’m exciting to do “A Day In The Life” vlog soon. I have an important day tomorrow so I’ll go to bed early tonight and then go gym tomorrow morning before my meetings just to make it a good start. Wish me luck ❤
If you ever wondered how a girl from a small town in Norway got together with a big city guy from London – you’ll be getting your answer really soon! The other day we did a video telling you guys how we met and how we started seeing each other. I’m in the middle of editing it, so stay tuned and it will be out soon!😍
