Creativity, growth, opportunities… Not everyone has the same opinions about Los Angeles – but there’s so much room to work on your goals and dreams if you’re open to new people and opportunities. You need to be sure of what you want, or at least know what direction you want to move towards. If you got that ready, and your ambition – it’s a good start.
People might think that it doesn’t matter where in the world you go and I’ve been asked so many times “Norway is so rich and safe, why would you leave?”. It matters so incredibly much where you spend your time, your months and your years. Never have I been more annoyed and happy with myself then when I moved to London. Annoyed because of how many experiences, opportunities and growth I had denied myself for just staying in my small town. Happy because I finally realised how I want to live my life.
It matters. The culture, the people, the environment, the size, the ethics – the vibes. Strange word to put in right there? Everything I mention above is exactly that to me. The vibes in my hometown? Not too good if you want to do something different, be someone different. The vibes in LA, in London? Different, full of ambition, confidence and hard work.
New video! You get to see a normal day and we also talk about our two different fitness journey’s + show before and after pictures! If you have any questions feel free to ask. Enjoooy!
I mean – look at this place! Some more pictures from my photoshoot in Los Angeles. Maybe you’re starting to see what I meant about this place. I love it.
Other than that I’m back home right now after spending the weekend in Oslo. I was so tired yesterday I ended up sleeping until 4 in the afternoon after landing. Very needed, but now I want to try and get back to normal routines – I always trying to avoid messing up my sleep because I usually get sleep paralysis… And if you haven’t experienced it I can just tell you it really is the worst thing.
New video coming out soon guys, so stay tuned!! Also doing something really exciting next month with Dan 😉 Will tell you more asap.
One thing I love about my hair is that it’s so easy to change it up. Curls, waves, straight, braids, ponytails – whatever I feel like really. I used to think my hair was so thin and boring, but it’s not as thin anymore and it’s actually so easy to work with.
The main tip I could give you to get more healthy hair would actually be to wash it less. It damages your hair so much if you wash it every day. In the beginning your hair can look greasy, but that is only because you’ve made it a habit to wash it so often. After a while you will see how much more healthy and strong your hair will grow. Try it! It also helps you keep your colour if you have dyed your hair. I’m not saying to never wash it, I’m just saying to cut it down little by little until you find something that works for you.
Hope everyone’s good ❤ Tomorrow it’s time for another journey to Oslo!
Guys!! Ah I wish you could be in the same place as me for this photoshoot. It was so cool! This woman had literally made her whole apartment into a doll house/dream house with pink, vintage and just really pretty accessories everywhere. She rents it out for people to shoot there and it’s just really impressive how she’s done everything and the ideas she has. Inspirational!
I can’t lie and say I didn’t get any interior inspiration for my own place one day (might be hard convincing someone else to live there though haha), but first off I will have to stay somewhere for longer than 6 months so that’s obviously not going to happen for a while, lol.
Anyways you will be seeing parts of this cute little apartment these upcoming days because I will be sharing pictures from my photoshoot that I had ❤ Here’s the first!
Soooo extra and I love it.
It’s quite a few YouTube videos on the channel now – so I thought I would share some of my favourites with you! It used to be only my channel so I do have some videos that’s fun for me to look back at, but probably a bit boring for everyone else, which is why I put some on private now. Now it’s me and Dan’s channel together because of the videos we have already done, and the ones to come!
But I thought we’d do a little flashback and look at some of my favourite ones on the channel! And maybe you can share yours!
Who remembers this?!? Hahaha. It was our first ever video and I remember he was surprisingly willing to do a video with me and for me to put it out. Have we changed any? Lol.
So unforgettable! One of the most amazing trips of my life. Dan wasn’t even supposed to be there, but we were away from each other for two weeks and he found the cheapest flight – and three days later he landed in Bangkok. It was my first time in Thailand, and his ever time outside of England and on a plane! So special.
Haha and of course this one!! It wasn’t as easy to convince him as when he got to do my makeup, but I managed it and I was so happy lol. I remember you guys liked this one a lot as well! Maybe it’s time to do it again?? 😀
DEATH. This one almost killed me. Or at least made the ambulance come to my house and I had to go to the ER. Don’t eat a ghost chili guys… Especially if you chew it whole because it will be chilling in your stomach hours later just burning up.
Workout video! Some of my fav workouts that I still do today. But with a tiny bit bigger booty and a stronger body. Hard work pays off. Maybe I should do another one with some new exercises?
First prank! This one was funny and I really got him. Dan said he would get me back, but I’m still here waiting. Hmmm. Maybe he just can’t do it as good as me 🙂
Some of you might remember this blog post. Selective Mutism affects about every 1 in 1000 kid. It affected me. The truth is there is not enough knowledge anywhere about this anxiety disorder. There is not enough help for kids struggling and parents struggling. My mom and I was a team and we managed it together, I got through it stronger than ever. Sometimes you will need more help. You should be able to get professional help, it is such a serious disorder.
But where’s the help? Why is it that so many doctors, professionals in mental health – no one knows more about it? Why have teachers not been educated more about such a disorder, when time after time there’s someone right in front of them, in their class, struggling so terribly?
After my blog posts and shares in Facebook groups there have been people reaching out to me. A lot more then I would have thought. I hope my story can be an inspiration and that anyone struggling know that they can contact me wherever and whenever. I’m here. There has been kids, parents, teenagers and adults – it doesn’t matter what age, you can be affected regardless.
But it’s not enough, I know that. I want to work harder so that more people can get educated about this anxiety disorder. That teachers can understand they make it so much worse for someone with SM by trying to make them talk in class or punishing them because they are not speaking. So much worse!
And just using some of my platforms to talk more about this, and share it as well is somewhere to start. I’m motivated – more people needs to understand what Selective Mutism really is.
I just got back from Oslo today and have been sitting in this same spot working and planning all day. Tiiiiired! But this is me right now so why not just share it with you guys. Hope everyone’s good ❤
